Which API key should I enter?
Enter the DINGJIAI user API key created in the console, not an upstream provider key.
Why does a call fail even though the model list contains the model?
The model list shows model products that are configured as selectable for the current call entry. It does not represent the account balance, concurrency limits, or real-time upstream health. Keep the request_id and continue troubleshooting.
Why can the balance become negative?
Before a call starts, available account balance after subtracting in-flight request reservations must be greater than zero. The actual cost of a completed call can exceed the remaining balance, so settlement may make the account balance negative. A zero or negative available balance cannot start another call.
Does missing usage always mean failure?
Not necessarily. Token products use valid usage first. If usage is missing or invalid, a valid non-streaming success JSON object may be estimated from its output, with at least 1 output token even when no output can be extracted. Streaming estimation requires model output that the gateway can extract. A disconnect, cancellation, or delivery failure may still be settled from trusted partial usage or output; settlement does not depend on the client successfully receiving a chunk. A write failure after non-streaming settlement does not roll back the charge, and a failed request is not necessarily free. A streaming response with neither trusted usage nor extractable output is charged zero. See Usage and billing for the complete estimation conditions, zero-charge boundaries, and image billing rules.
Does DINGJIAI store chats and images?
Online Chat, uploaded images, reference images, and generated images are stored in the browser locally by default. The backend performs only the temporary transfer required for the call and records billing and observability metadata.
